Senior
Scientist
Treatment Research Institute
The
Treatment Research Institute (TRI), a nationally recognized not-for-profit
research and development organization, seeks an outstanding Senior Scientist
in its Philadelphia office. Research experience in addiction, mental health
or healthcare management is an advantage; however, good research in other
related fields can also make important contributions in the addiction
field. Thus, we will consider an established, senior researcher with exemplary
credentials and accomplishments in social, behavioral, healthcare, economic
or information science. The ability to bring an active program of supported
research is a significant competitive advantage. In addition to a significant
compensation and benefits package, TRI may provide positions for a successful
candidate’s colleagues and students.
About the Treatment Research Institute
TRI is dedicated to science-driven reform of policy and treatment in substance
use. TRI’s Senior Scientific corps is comprised of social and behavioral
scientists who have excelled in academic environments, have demonstrated
ability to compete for federal, state and foundation funding, and are
excellent communicators. This year we have assisted three countries, eleven
states and many of the nation’s leading healthcare organizations
in implementing evidence based practices and policies. All TRI Senior
Scientists have adjunct appointments with the University of Pennsylvania,
but with no obligations to teach or serve on committees. As an independent
organization, TRI has its own IRB and DSMB and all of TRI’s institutional
overhead goes directly to support the work of its scientists.
Application Process
If you are a dynamic, engaged, and broadly talented individual who wants
to use your research and communication skills to make a difference in
significant real-world problems, please read more
about TRI on our website. If you like what you see, and are ready
for a change, please email a confidential letter of inquiry with curriculum
vitae to Kathleen Geary at Kgeary@tresearch.org.
The Treatment Research Institute is located in Suite 600, Public Ledger
Building, 150 S. Independence Mall West, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
TRI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
