DEVELOPMENT

The Treatment Research Institute is predominantly funded through investigator-initiated grants and contracts from federal agencies, including the National Institutes of Health and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Contracts with State and local government agencies and provider organizations also fund the work we do.

How can you help?

TRI is a not-for-profit as defined under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, making all contributions tax exempt under IRS rules. Your contribution can support unfunded activities of our organization, including strengthening our program of research in prevention and treatment of adolescent substance abuse and translation of research findings to practitioners and policy makers in the field of addiction.

If you are interested in supporting the work of TRI, a tax exempt contribution may be directed to:

The Treatment Research Institute
ATTN: Rosalyn Weinstein
600 Public Ledger Building
150 South Independence Mall
Philadelphia, PA 19106-3475

Through the Donor Choice Option program of the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania’s annual giving campaign, donations can be directed to TRI by checking code number 15226.

If you are interested in learning more about ways you can help further the mission of TRI, please contact our development office at (215) 399-0980 x169 or via email to info@tresearch.org.
